The Cleaning by DC Reed
The Cleaning begins almost a decade after Algiers Banger, a reclusive billionaire, decided that his adopted country was headed toward cataclysmic bankruptcy and ruin. Disillusioned by decades of spineless and self-serving politicians, Banger had given up trying to influence politicians with reason and money. His solution was to form the Freedom Organisation and embark on a project that would save the USA. The Matriculation Project team covertly recruited, trained, and funded like-minded candidates to run for political office. Soon Banger realised that even the best candidates were not perfect. Prior affairs, crimes or other indiscretions were not uncommon; therefore, ‘cleaning up’ their past was necessary. Banger believed that the end justified the means, even if that meant murder.

Adventures of Ms Kelly in Tallahassee
The story of Ms Kelly, a miniature apricot toy poodle, who was born in a puppy mill in a crowd of over 100 small dogs where there was stiff competition in trying to find a home. When Calvin picked her up while touring the puppy mill looking for a small house dog she threw her front paws around his neck and held on for dear life. They lived on a small four-acre farm near Tallahassee, Florida, where Ms Kelly tells of her adventures with two mean cats, Lin and Kim, her friend, Red, a dog that was five times bigger than her (but she could out-run him) and coyotes, foxes, rattlesnakes, a little bear and its mother, and a baby deer and its mother. This is a wonderful story told by Ms Kelly, full of happiness, some sadness, danger and delight.
